38000*12 month =456000.
55000*7 month. =385000.

456000/385000 = 456 : 385 then total shares will be..... 841
Ramesh's profit is=22000*456/841=11928 approx
Shyam's profit is=22000*385/841=10072 approx
The difference between profits is 1856.

Answer:

The difference of the profit between the two is Rs.1857.

Step-by-step explanation:

The investment made by the Ramesh = Rs.38000

The Ramesh share for 12 months = 38000 × 12

After 5 months,

Shayam joined the business by investing  = Rs.55000

Then, the share of Shayam for 7 months = 55000 × 7

The ratio of the Ramesh and the Shayam's share is,

= 38000 × 12 : 55000 × 7

= 456 : 385

The total ratio = 456 + 385

                        = 841

After 12 months,

The profit is Rs.22000.

Then,

The difference between their profit is,

= 22000\times \left(\frac{456}{841}-\frac{385}{841}\right)

= 22000\times \left(\frac{71}{841}\right)

= Rs.1857.31

= Rs. 1857

Therefore, the difference of the profit between the two is Rs.1857.
