Explanation:

t = 15 min

v = 4 m/s

d =?

v = d/t

vt = d

d = 4 m/s × 15 min × 60 s/1 min

>Cancel the unit min

d = 3600 m ANSWER

Answer:

Explanation:

speed = distance/time

distance = speed*time

In this case,

speed = 4 m/s

time = 15 min = 15*60 s (1 min = 60 s, so 15 min = 15*60 s) = 900 s

time and speed are not in the same unit so time needs to be converted to seconds

d = 4 m/s * 900 s

= 3600 m

if we convert this to km (as it is the Standard unit of distance)

1000 m = 1 km

3600 m = 3600/1000 km = 3.6 km

therefore, The distance between Ramesh's house and market is 3.6 km

Hope this helps!!!
