Ramesh took two beaker A and B hot water and cold water respectively . In each weaker he dropped a crystal of copper sulphate . He kept the breakers undisturbed . After some time what did he observe ? Why?

Explanation:

The solutions of both the beakers turns blue after sometime, but the colour change was observed earlier in beaker A as comparing to beaker B. This happens because due to high temperature of water in beaker A, the kinetic energy of the molecules in it increases, resulting in faster rate of diffusion.

From this activity we. an conclude that rate of diffusion increases with increasing temperature.
