Ramesh was travelling along with his father in a train. When the train was moving fast,

Ramesh look out of the window of the train. To his surprise, he found that the nearby

trees, houses, lamp-posts etc. seem to move rapidly in a direction opposite to the train’s

motion while the distant object such as hill top, moon etc. seem to stationary out of shear

enthusiasm, he asked his father, who was a Science teacher, to explain him the reason

behind this observation. He gave the explanation of the phenomenon in detail. Answer the

following question based on the above information.

(i) What are the value being displayed by Ramesh here?

(ii) Name the phenomenon involved in the above observation.

(iii) Explain the above observation clearly.​
