Ramjan bought 15 kg of palm oil for 750 rupees he was constrained to sell it at a loss equal to the selling price of 5 kg of palm oil. what is the selling price per kg. elaborate with steps​

Answer:

let X be the sp of 5kg of palm oil

sp of 1kg of palm oil is X/5

sp of 15kg of palm oil is(X/5)15 = 3X

now cp-sp= loss

and loss=sp of 5kg of palm oil=X

750-3X=X

=>750=4X

=>X=187.5

then sp per kg is X/5=187.5/5=37.5 rs

So, so per kg is rs 37.5/-
