Answer:

Answer is Rs 28.5

Explaination:

Cost of dozen organs =Rs. 30

to sell at a loss of 5%

Loss % =CP−SP × 100

CP

5 = 30 - SP × 100

30

3 = 60 - 25p

25p = 60 - 3

SP = Rs. 28.5.

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

              Given data:- Ramlal bought oranges at Rs.30. per dozen. And he had to sell them at the loss of 5\%.

              To find:- Find selling price.

              Solution:-

      Cost of dozen organs =30Rs.

      to sell at a loss of =5\%.

            \begin{array}{l}\text { Loss } \%=\frac{C P-S P}{C P} \times 100 \\5=\frac{30-S P}{30} \times 100 \\3=60-25 P \\25 P=60-3 \\S P=R s .28 .5.\end{array}

      Hence we will get the Selling price is 28.5\ Rs.
