Ramon has notes of Rs. 100, Rs. 50, and Rs. 10 respectively. The ratio of these notes is 2 : 3 : 5 and the total amount is Rs. 2,00,000. Find the number of notes of each kind.

Answer:

NOTE OF 100 = 2X=TOTAL = 200X RUPEES

NOTE OF 50 =3X = TOTAL = 150X RUPEES

NOTE OF 10 = 5X = TOTAL =50X RUPEES

SO, 50X+150X + 200X = 200000

400X=200000

X=500

2X=1000

3X=1500

5X=2500

total sum of ratios =2+3+5

=10x

money of 100rs note= 200000×2/10

= Rs40000

money of 50rs note =200000×3/10

= Rs60000

money of 10rs note =200000×5/10

= Rs100000

no.of 100rs note = 40000/100

=400 notes

no.of 50rs note= 60000/50

= 1200 notes

no. of 10rs note = 100000/10

= 10000 notes
