Ramu bought 20 kg of rice at ₹18 per kg and 25 kg of rice at ₹16 per kg . He mixed the two varieties and sold the mixture at ₹19 per kg. Find his gain per cent in the whole transaction

So the total money spent by him is = 360+400= ₹760

now, the total money gained by him on selling both varieties are = 19 × 45 = ₹855

so, gain = S.P - C.P

= 855-760

= 95

Hence, the gain℅ = gain×100/C.P

= 95×100/760

= 9500/ 760

= 12.5%
