Total Number of plants = 246

L.C.M of 246 = 123*2

Therefore,
A number of 123 rows consisting if 2 plants can be planted and no plants is thus left.

2.

This is a trick question. Ramya here can plant a row of 2 plants each, and that would make the number of plants in each of the 2 rows equal to 123. The math equation here would be simple. i.e. 123*2=246.

if Ramya decides to put more than 123 plants in each row, then the count of rows would change"
