Answer:

4800 m

Explanation:

20 minutes = 20*60 = 1200 seconds

Distance = s*t = 4*1200

= 4800 m

Answer:

4800 m

Explanation:

Method 1:

time=20 mins

      =20*60 sec

      =1200 sec

speed=4 m/s

From the formula we have, we know that

  • distance=time*speed
  • displacement=time*velocity

Since we are said to find distance therefore we will be using

  • distance=speed*time

on plugging the values in the equation

distance=1200*4

             =4800 m

Therefore the distance between his house and school is 80 m.

Method 2:

We can also use the equation of motion to do so ie

s=u*t+1/2*a*t²

where

s=distance/displacement

t=time

u=initial velocity

a=acceleration of the body

In the above question a=0 as the body is moving with constant velocity

Therefore our formula is reduced to

s=ut

=4*1200

=4800 m

Hope this helps
