Answer:

Buy of land =Rs. 480000

5

2

×480000=Rs. 192000

Loss=6%

100

100−6

×192000=Rs. 180480

Total gain=10%

100

100+10

×480000=Rs. 528000

S.P=528000−180480=Rs. 347520

C.P of remaining part of land =

5

3

×480000=Rs. 288000

Gain% of remaining part of land =

C.P

S.P−C.P

×100

=

288000

347520−288000

×100

=20.6%

Hence, this is the answer.

Answer:

a. let the initial value be x

x -  \frac{10}{100} x -  \frac{33}{100} ( \frac{90}{100} x) = 60 \\  \frac{90}{100} x - \frac{33}{100} ( \frac{90}{100} x) = 60 \\  \frac{90}{100}  \times  \frac{67}{100}x  = 60 \\ x = 100

b.

Vashti gets = 10

Tanya gets =

 \frac{1}{3}  \times 90 = 30

Talya get 20 plums more than Vashti.
