Rani completes one round of running a track in 10 minutes and Trisha completes it in 8 minutes.
How long will it take for both to arrive at the starting point together, if they start at the same time

Given:

Rani completes one round of running a track in 10 minutes.

Trisha completes one round of running a track in 8 minutes.

Rani and Trisha started at the same time and maintain the same speed.

Let us find the L.C.M of 10 and 8 minutes.

10=2\times5

8=2\times2\times2

L.C.M. (10,8)=2\times5\times2\times2=40.

Here, Rani and Trisha will meet at the starting point after 40 minutes.

Hence, it will take 40 minutes for both Rani and Trisha to arrive at the starting point together.
