rani laxmibai, the queen of jhansi was a brave queen and a great warrior. her childhood name was manikarnika. she was born on 19 november, 1828 in Varanasi, U.P in india. she was one of the great leader of indian rebellion of 1857 and, became for indian nationilists a symbol of resistance to british rule in india. she was a fighter for india's independence. she was married with gangadhar rao.her two sons damodar rao and anand rao. she was died on 17/18 june 1858 in gwalior, india.
