                        Three Day Cultural festival at Uttarakhand

Basant Panchami celebrations were on their full swing here in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, as a grand and three-day long cultural festival was organized in the district. Organized on the main grounds of the marketplace, a huge showcase of different types of arts forms was displayed in the festival. Such grand and colorful decorations were made with the help of hand made sculptures and freshly plucked flowers at the main entrance of the festival. Honourable Satish sharma, Local panchayat member, graced the inauguration ceremony with his graceful presence. Following the ceremony, the festival continued with various folk dance and song performances by native villagers, filling the environment with their elegance and grace. Towards the conclusion of the festival, the students from the local school gave inspiring speeches on various social and cultural themes. With this, the festival drew to its end with a show of fireworks.
