Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, 30 January A three-day cultural festival was organized by the inmates of Ranikhet district, to celebrate the Basant Panchami. The festival was named "The Arrival of Spring", and commenced on 28 January, lasting till 30 January.
The cultural festival included a lot of fun activities. A fair was organized that engulfed all the festivities of these three days. Numerous performers participated in the fest and enhanced its glory. On the first day, there were rides in the fair and a small flea market, the next day was dedicated to dancing and singing performances, and the final day was devoted to worship of God almighty.
People from the adjoining districts also joined in the festivities along with locals. Everyone enjoyed to the fullest and spring was welcomed with wide warm open hearts.
