Cost of a TV set Ranjan bought = 54,000

Money he paid as cash for the TV set :-

 =  \frac{\texttt{1}}{\texttt{9}}  \: \texttt{ of  \: the  \: price}

 =  \frac{\texttt{1}}{\texttt{9}} \texttt{ \: of \: 54000}

 =  \frac{\texttt{1}}{\texttt{9}} \texttt{ \: × \: 54000}

 =  \frac{\texttt{1×54000}}{\texttt{9} }

 =  \frac{\texttt{54000}}{\texttt{9} }

 =\texttt{₹\color{hotpink}6000}

Money Ranjan payed as cash = 6000

Money Ranjan would have paid in installments :-

 = \texttt{54000 - 6000}

 =\texttt{ ₹\color{hotpink}48000}

Money Ranjan would have payed in installments = 48,000

Number of months in which Ranjan payed in installments = 24

Money he would have to pay each month :-

 =  \frac{\texttt{48000}}{\texttt{24} }

 = {{\bold{₹\color{hotpink} 2000}}}

Therefore, Money Ranjan had to pay each month = 2000

 \mathtt{\Huge{\color{indigo}{A}{\color{blue}{N}{\color{green}{S}{\color{violet}{W}{\color{orange}{E}{\color{red}{R}}}}}}}}

\LARGE  \color{indigo}{\mathtt{Given:  - }}

  • Total amount = ₹54,000
  • Price paid by him = 1/9 of total.
  • Rest of money in 24 monthly installments

\LARGE  \color{limegreen}{\mathtt{To  \:  \: find  }}

  • Amount he had to pay every month

So, according to the question:-

</p><p> \large{ \color{orange}{ \mathtt{Total  \:  \: amount \:  \:  of  \:  \: the  \:  \: refrigerator = Rs  \: 54,000}}}

Amount paid in cash = 1/9 of Rs. 5000

 \\  \mathtt{=  \frac{1}{9}  × 54,000}

 \color{green} \large =  \underbrace{ \mathtt{Rs. 6000}}

Balance amount :-

  \\ \mathtt{= Rs  \:  \: 54,000 \:   \: –  \:  \: Rs  \:  \: 6000}

 \color{green} \large =  \underbrace{ \mathtt{ Rs. 48000}}

∴ Amount of each installment :-

\Large{\mathtt{ \implies \: Rs. 48000  ÷ 24}}

\Large{\boxed{\boxed{ \color{red}{\mathtt{ \implies \: Rs \:  2000}}}}}

Therefore, he has to pay 2000 every month.
