Let jewan's income = Rs. 100

Ranjan's income = 100+20=Rs.120

To Find,

percent by which jewan's income is less than ranjan's

= (102-10/120*100

= 20/120*100

= 1/6*100

= 16.67 percent

Hence, jewan's income is 16.67 percent less than ranjan's
