Let jewan's income = Rs. 100
Ranjan's income = 100+20=Rs.120
To Find,
percent by which jewan's income is less than ranjan's
= (102-10/120*100
= 20/120*100
= 1/6*100
= 16.67 percent
Hence, jewan's income is 16.67 percent less than ranjan's
