Actually metals attract magnet .metals have some particles present in it which is as well present in magnet that is the reason that metals attract magnet

Yes, Ranjit is right. Since on being in contact with a magnet, a metal piece will also act as a magnet due to magnet's electric field, which in turn will make an electric field of the metal piece of opposite charge.
