Rashida bought 25 dozen egges at the rate of Rs 9.60 per dozen. 30 eggs were broken in the transaction and she sold the remaining eggs at one rupee each.Find her gain or loss percentage

CP of 25 dozen = 9.60 x 25 = Rs.240  ......(1)

Total eggs = 25 x 12 = 300

Remaining eggs = 300 - 30 = 270

SP of 270eggs = 270 x 1 = Rs.270  .............(2)

Gain = 270 - 240 = Rs.30

gain percentage = 30/240   x  100 = 12.5%
