Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Rashmi baked a cake Ruhi ate 1/3 of cake Rohit ate 1/4 of remaining cake After that ritika ate 1/2 of remaining cake.

To find :-

How much of original cake was left ?

Solution :-

Let the amount of the cake baked by Rashmi be X

Part of the cake eaten by Ruhi

= 1/3 of the cake

=> 1/3 of X

=> (1/3)×X

=> X/3

Part of the cake eaten by Ruhi = X/3

So, Remaining cake

=> X-(X/3)

=> (3X-X)/3

=> 2X/3

Remaining cake = 2X/3

Part of the cake eaten by Rohith

= 1/4th of the remaining cake

= 1/4 of 2X/3

=>(1/4)×(2X/3)

=> (1×2X)/(4×3)

=> 2X/12

=> X/6

Part of the cake eaten by Rohith = X/6

Remaining Cake

= (2X/3)-(X/6)

LCM of 3 and 6 = 6

= [(2X×2)-(X×1)]/6

=(4X-X)/6

= 3X/6

Remaining cake = 3X/6

Part of the cake eaten by Ritika

= 1/2 of the remaining cake

= (1/2) of (3X/6)

= (1/2)×(3X/6)

= (1×3X)/(2×6)

= 3X/12

= X/4

Part of the cake eaten by Ritika = X/4

Remaining cake

= (3X/6)-(X/4)

LCM of 6 and 4 = 12

= [(3X×2)-(X×3)]/12

= (6X-3X)/12

= 3X/12

= X/4

= (1/4)×X

= 1/4th of the original cake

Answer:-

The remaining cake after eating all is 1/4th of the cake
