Answer:

1min=30 steps

1+1min=30-3steps

1+5min = 30 -3×5 steps = 15 steps

30 + 15 = 45

therefore the answer is 45 steps

Answer:

165 steps

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 30

n = 6

d = -3

∴t₆ = 30 + (6-1)(-3)            using formula, tₙ = a + (n-1)d

     = 30+5*(-3) = 30-15

     = 15 = l

and so S₆ = 6/2 (30+15)    using formula, Sₙ = (n/2) [a+l]

                = 3*45

                = 165 steps
