Scale of map = 1cm per 18 km
So, when she moves 72 km on road, then she would cover a distance of 4cm on her map.
It is because when we divide 72 by 18
we get, 72÷18= 4
so when 4 is multiplied by 1,
we get 4×1= 4cm ( we have multiplied by 1 because on every 18km scale of map changes to 1cm)
HOPE IT HELPS!

THANKS!
