Area of shaded region is 504 cm^{2}.

Step-by-step explanation:

given:

     Side of the square 's' = 14 cm

     Radius of circle 'r' = 7 cm

According to the question.

   Now, Area of the square = s x s

          Area of the square = 14 x 14

          Area of the square = 196 cm^{2}

Area of four semi circles  =  4 x \pi \times r^{2}

Area of two circles = 4 x π x 7^{2}

Area of two circles = 308  cm^{2}

Now, total area of shaded region =  308 + 196

                                                        = 504  cm^{2}
