Answer:

Both are equal

Step-by-step explanation:

Rashmi's  mark= 480/600

Raj's mark =560/700

to compare we need to take lcm

lcm=4200

480*7/600*7=3360/4200

560*6/700*6=3360/4200

both are equal

Answer:

Both are having 80% hence are having equal performance

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the information provided in the question it is given as

Rashmi obtains marks =480 out of 600

Raj obtains marks=560 out of 700

We need to find whose performance is best

As seen in the question it is quite difficult to find the performance of both because the total marks out out of are different hence it is necessary to simplify this by finding the percentage of marks of both the candidate sand compare them

Percentage can be calculated by dividing the value by the total value, and then multiplying the result by 100. The formula used to calculate percentage is: (value/total value)×100%.

Rashmi % =480 out of 600

\% =\frac{480}{600}\times 100\\\%= 80\%

Raj %=560 out of 700

\%= \frac{560}{700} \times 100\\\%= 80\%

As seen form the result it is concluded that both are having same percentage  80%   Hence equal performance
