Given : deposited the money  rupees 100 × n² every month

n represent number of month

To Find :  money accumulated after 15 months

Solution:

Amount deposited on 1st month = 100 × 1²

Amount deposited on 2nd month = 100 × 2²

Amount deposited on 15th month = 100 × 15²

Total Amount Deposited

=  100 × 1²  + 100 × 2² + .  + . + . + . + 100 × 15²

= 100 (  1²  + 2² + .  + . + . + . +  15² )

= 100 ∑n²    ( n from 1 to 15)

∑n² =  n(n + 1)(2n + 1)/6

n = 15

= 15(16)(31)/6

= 1240

Total Amount Deposited = 100(1240)

= 124000

money accumulated after 15 months = 124000
