RATE CONSTANT DEPEND ON CATALYST;

_________________________________________

A catalyst alters the mechanism of a reaction such that the activation energy decreases.

Now using arhennius equation,we Can deduce that at any given temperature the rate constant will be greater for the catalysed reaction in comparison to the uncatalysed one.

ARRHENIUS EQN-

k= A exp(-E/RT)

A: pre exponential factor

E: activation energy

R: gas constant

Here is your answer ⤵⤵⤵

The value of the rate constant k depends on the nature of the reactant, on the temperature, and on the presence of catalysts, but does not depend on the concentration of the substances. The physical meaning of the rate constant is: its equal to the rate of a reaction at the singles concentrations of the reactants.
