for example when we heat water in a boiling tube it t as ke time to evaporate but on China dish it evaporates faster becaus in increase in surface area

-»In the liquid the particles at the upper layer which is in contact with the outside surrounding takes enough kinetic energy from the particle of lower layer to change its state.

-»So it is obvious that as more area will be in contact with the outside surrounding then the rate of evaporation will increase.
