when the humidity of air is high then the rate of evaporation is slow and water evaporates very slowly it is because of the reason that clothes get dry slowly during during rainy season when the humidity of air is high similarly people sweat a lot in hot and humid weather because the air around us has high percentage of water vapours therefore the sweat that comes out of skin does not evaporate and remain sticking to our body and we feel uncomfortable.
