Answer: Mark me as a brainlist

Let the two numbers be x and y

so, ATQ,

x/y = 4/5

5x = 4y

5x - 4y = 0        .....(I)

Next,

If 5 is added in both number,

x+5/y+5 = 13/16

16(x+5) = 13(y+5)

16x + 80 = 13y + 65

16x - 13y = 65-80

16x - 13y + 15 = 0     .....(II)

From substitution method,

5x - 4y = 0

x = 4y/5     ......(III)

Putting value of eq (III) in eq (II), we will get the answer

16x - 13y +15 = 0

16(4y/5) - `3y +15 = 0

64y-5 - 13y = -15

64y-65y/5 = -15

-y/5 = -15

-y = -15 * 5

-y = -75

y = 75

Since we get value of y,

5x = 4y

5x = 4*75

x = 300/5

x = 60

The two numbers are 60 and 75.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let two numbers are x and y

By question,

x:y. = 4:5

y =5x/4

Now , ( x+5):(y+5) =13 : 16

16x+80 = 13y+65

Putting y = 5x/4 above, we get

64x+60 = 65x

x =60 , y =75
