= 5x +20 = 6y -18
x =( 6y -38 )/5
New ratio = x-2/y+4 = 6/11
= 11x-22 = 6y +24
= x = 6y + 46 / 11
= ( 6y -38 )/5 = 6y + 46 / 11
= 66y -418 = 30y + 230
= 36y = 648
y = 18
then x = 6(18)-38 /5
= 70/5
= 14
