HEY BUDDY..!!!

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

________________________

▶️ First we'll find the speed of first train , as we are given

⏺️ Speed = ?

⏺️ Distance = 350 Km

⏺️ time = 2 Hour

✔️ We know

♠️ Speed = distance / time

=> speed = 350 / 2

=> speed = 175 Km / h

▶️ So speed of first train is [ 175 Km / h ] = S1

⏺️ Now it is given speed of first train ( S1 ) and speed of second train ( S2 ) are in ratio of 5 : 3

✔️ Then

♠️ S1 / S2 = 5 / 3

=> S1 / S2 = 5 / 3

=> S2 = 3 . S1 / 5

=> S2 = 3 × 175 / 5

=> S2 = 3 × 35

=> [ S2 = 105 Km / h ]

▶️ Speed of second train is 105 Km / h

♠️ Hence option ( c ) is correct.

Answer:

Given: Ratio between speeds of 2 trains is 5:3.

We have to find the speed of the second train, if the first train runs 350 km in 2 hours.

First, we'll determine the speed of the first train given to us.

Speed = ?

Distance = 350 kilometers

time = 2 hours

We are aware

Speed = time / distance

-: speed = 350 / 2

-: top speed = 175 km/h

So the first train's speed is [175 km/h] = S1.

The speed of the first train (S1) and the speed of the second train (S2) are now given in the ratio of 5: 3.

Then

-: S1 / S2 = 5 / 3

-: S2 = 3 . S1 / 5

-: S2 = 3 × 175 / 5

-: S2 = 3 × 35

-: [S2 = 105 Km / h]

The speed of the second train is 105 km/h.
