out of 40 students,

girls:boys=2:3

i.e girls=2*40/5=16

boys=40-16=24

5 new students joined,then total becomes 40+5=45

out of 45, girls:boys=5:4

new strength of girls=5*45/9=25

new strength of boys=45-25= 20
