Answer

The ratio between the lateral surface area and base area of cuboid is 4 : 1

Explanation

Let 'a'  be the side length of  a cube

Lateral surface area is 4a^{2}

And base area = a^{2}

To find the ratio between the lateral surface area and base area

\frac{lateral surface area}{lateral surface area}=\frac{4a^{2}}{a^{2}}

\frac{lateral surface area}{lateral surface area}=\frac{4}{1}

Therefore,ratio between the lateral surface area and base area of cuboid is 4 : 1
