if 10 is added then their ratios becomes 2:3.

To Find :-

Sum

Solution :-

Let the numbers be 4x and 7x

When 10 added

4x + 10/7x + 10 = 2/3

3(4x + 10) = 2(7x + 10)

12x + 30 = 14x + 20

12x - 14x = 20 - 30

-2x = -10

x = -10/-2

x = 5

Numbers are

4x = 4(5) = 20

7x = 7(5) = 35

Hence

Sum = 20 + 35 = 55
