Salutation :-

Let the numbers be 4x and 7x

Now according to the question ,

( 4x + 20 ) : ( 7x + 20 ) = 7 : 9

( 4x + 20 ) / ( 7x + 20 ) = 7 / 9

49x + 140 = 36x + 180

49x - 36x = 180 - 140

13x = 40

x = 40 / 13

Now , the numbers are

4x = 4 × 40 / 13 and 7x = 7 × 40 / 13

4x = 160 / 13 and 7x = 280 / 13 [ ★ Required answer ]
