Area of bigger triangle = (bh)/2 = (20*b)/2 = 10b

Area of smaller triangle = (bh)/2 = (bx)/2

Area of bigger triangle / Area of smaller triangle = 3 / 4    (given)

=> 10b / [(bh)/2] = 3/4 => 10b * 2/bx = 3/4 => 20/x = 3/4

=>20 * 4 = 3x => x = 80 / 3 => x = 26.67cm
