Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

We know that:

Ratio of Bases = Ratio of areas. (Similar Triangles)

Let the unknown base be ' x '.

Then,

 \frac{6}{x} =  \frac{2}{3}

⇒ x =  \frac{6\times 3}{2} = 3\times 3= 9\ cm

\bold{Therefore\ Base\ of\ bigger\ triangle\ \ \boxed{9\ cm}}

Solution:-

Let the areas be 2x and 3x.

So, 2x=1/2×base×height.

height same in both case so let be h

So, 2x=1/2×6×h

Therefore x=3h/2

3x=1/2×b×h

Putting value of x,

3×3h/2=bh/2

h/2 gets cancelled,

3×3=b

=>b=9

therefore based of bigger triangle is 9 cm
