We know that ,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

l : b = 4:5

l = 4x , b = 5x

by putting values

162 = 2(4x + 5x)

162 = 2(9x)

162 = 18x

$x = \frac{162}{18}$

$\purple{\leadsto x = 9}$

→ breadth = 4x = 4×9 = 36

→ length = 5x = 5 ×9 = 45.
