Answer:

Ratio of expenditure of A : B : C = 16 : 12 : 9.Saving = 20 : 25 : 40.If total income of A+B+C = 15300.Find income of A ?

Step-by-step explanation:

 ratio of the expenditure of X, Y and Z are 16: 12: 9 respectively and their savings are 20%, 25% and 40% of their income. If the sum of their income is Rs. 3060, find Y’s salary?Expenditure of X = 16x

Expenditure of Y = 12x

Expenditure of z = 9x

Income of X = A

Income of Y = B

Income of Z = C

A + B + C = 3060

Saving = income - expenditure

Saving of X = A - 16x = 0•2A Or 0•8A = 16x

A = 20x

Saving of Y = B - 12x = 0•25 B Or 0•75B = 12x

B = 12/0•75*x = 1200x/75 = 16x

Saving of Z =C - 9x = 0•40C. Or 0•6C = 9x

C = 9x/0•6 = 15x

A + B + C = 20x + 16x +15x = 51x = 3060

x = 60

A = 20*60 = 1200

B = 16*60 = 960

C = 15*60 = 900

Income of Y = B = Rs 960
