Given : LCM and HCF of smallest odd composite number and the largest 2-digit composite number

To Find : Ratio

Solution:

HCF Highest common factor of given numbers is the largest factors which divides all the given numbers perfectly.

HCF = product of common factors of least power

LCM  - Least common multiplier of given numbers is the least number which is perfectly divisible by given numbers.

LCM = product of each factor  of highest power

composite number has more than 2 factors

odd numbers are not divisible by 2

Smallest odd composite number = 9

Largest 2-digit composite number  = 99

9 = 3 * 3

99 = 3 * 3 * 11

HCF = 3 * 3 = 9

LCM = 3 * 3 * 11 = 99

Ratio LCM : HCF  = 99 : 9

= 11:1

11 : 1 is the Ratio of LCM and HCF of smallest odd composite number and the largest 2-digit composite number
