Breadth = 2x

Length = 3x = 5 m + 2x

3x = 5x + 2x

3x - 2x = 5m

x = 5 m

2x = 5*2 = 10 m = Breadth

3x = 5*3 = 15 m = Length

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

=2(10 + 15)

=2(25)

= 50 m

Given :

The ratio of length and breadth of a rectangle is 3:2

length of rectangle is 5 m more than the breadth

To Find :

Perimeter of rectangle

Solution:

The ratio of length and breadth of a rectangle is 3:2

Let the ratio be x

So, Length = 3x

Breadth = 2x

We are given that the length of rectangle is 5 m more than the breadth,

So,3x-2x=5

x=5

Length = 3x=3(5)=15 m

Breadth = 2x=2(5)=10 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)=2(15+10)=50 m

Hence The perimeter of rectangle is 50 m
