Let marks of harsh and shayan are 5k and 6k respectively.

According to Question

6K= 78

K= 78/6= 13

So Harsh scored (5K= 13×5=) 65 marks.

Hi friend!

Answer:

Ratio = 5:6
5:6 same as 5x:6x

Harsh's marks = 5x
Shyam's marks = 6x = 78

6x = 78 \\ x = 78 \div 6 \\ x = 13

Harsh's marks = 5x = 5(13)
5 × 13 = 65

Therefore, Harsh scored 65 marks in the examination.
