Given :-

  • Ratio of monthly income of labour to its monthly expenditure is 15:14.

To Find :-

  • what is his income if his total monthly saving is 2000 ?

Solution :-

Let us assume that, Monthly income and monthly expenditure of labour is Rs.15x and Rs.14x respectively .

so,

→ Monthly saving = Monthly income - Monthly expenditure

→ Monthly saving = 15x - 14x = Rs.x

A/q,

→ x = Rs.2000

therefore,

→ Monthly income = 15x = 15 * 2000 = Rs.30000 (Ans.)

Hence, Monthly income of labour will be Rs.30000 .
