The ratio of radius and height of the cylinder = 2:3Let the radius be 2x cm and the height be 3x cmVolume of cylinder = πr²h⇒πr²h = 1617(given)⇒(22/7)(2x)² (3x) = 1617⇒(22/7)(4x²) (3x) = 1617⇒12x³ = (1617)(7/22)⇒12x³ = 11319/22⇒12x³ = 514.5⇒ x³ = 514.5/12⇒ x³ = 42.875⇒ x = ∛42.875∴ x = 3.5Therefore the height of the cylinder = 3x = 3(3.5) = 10.5cm
