Ratio of the income to the expenditure of a family is 8:5 find the savings,if the income is Rs 48000 maths answer

Ratio of the income to expenditure=8:5

Income=Rs 48000

8/5= 48000/expenditure

Expenditure=(48000×5)/8= Rs30000

Savings = Income - expenditure

=Rs 48000-30000

=Rs18000
