ratio of adjacent sides of parallelogram=3:5
perimeter =80cm
let side1 be 3x
side2 be 5x
Then
2(3x+5x)=80cm
2(8x)=80cm
16x=80cm
x=80/16
x=5cm
then side1=3x=3×5=15cm
side2=5x=5×5=25cm

Answer:

RATIO = 3:5 ( OF BOTH THE SIDES)

PERIMETER = 80CM

(SO, FOR FINDING THE SIDES WE HAVE TO WRITE),

SIDE 1=  3x (because the first number in the ratio 3:5 is 3)

SIDE 2= 5x (because the second number in the ratio 3:5 is 5)

therefore, 2(3x+5x) = 80cm

2 (8x) = 80cm

16x = 80cm

x= 80/16 = (2x40=80, 2x8=16) = 40/8= (2x20=40, 2x4=8) so now left is 20 and 4 and when we cut this also we will get 10and 2 , then after we cut this we will get 5 and 1 so the final answer will be 5cm for this cutting method.

now, lets come to the final steps,

side1 = 3x =3x5 = 15cm

side 2 = 5x=5x5 = 25cm
