To find:-

Find the Rational number between -3/2 and 2/3?

Solution:-

Given two numbers are -3/2 and 2/3

We know that

If a and b are two numbers then the rational number between them is (a+b)/2

We have

a = -3/2

b=2/3

The rational number = [(-3/2)+(2/3)]/2

LCM of 2 and 3 = 6

=> [{(3×-3)+(2×2)}/6]/2

=> [(-9+4)/6]/2

=> (-5/6)/2

=>-5/(6×2)

=> -5/12
