WE KNOW THE ROOT OF 2 AND 3

ROOT 2 : 1.414

ROOT 3 : 1.732

NOW , WE CAN WRITE NUMBER OF RATIONAL NUMBER BETWEEN THESE . THAT IS JUST GREATER THAN 1.414 & LESS THAN 1.732 & IT SHOULD BE TERMINATING OR NOT TERMINATING AND REPEATING .

FOR EX: 1.415659756 , 1.416893 , 1.715644

hope it helps...✨

Given : √2 and  √3

To Find :  Rational number greater than √2 and less than √3

Solution:

Rational number greater than √2 and less than √3

2 = 8/4

3 = 12/4

√2  = √(8/4)      √3 = √12/4

√(8/4)  <  √9/4   <  √12/4

=> √2   < √9/4   <  √2

=> √2   < √(3/2)²   <  √2

=> √2   <  (3/2)    <  √2

Hence 3/2 is a rational number greater than √2  and less than √3

However there exist infinite many rational number between 2 distinct irrational numbers
