3+root 2 divided by 4 root 2 = 3+root 2 × 4 root 2 upon 4 root 2 x 4 root 2 = 12 +4 upon 12 +2 = 16 ÷ 14 = 8 ÷7

=3+root 2/4root2*4root2/4root2

=(3+root 2*4root2)/32

=12root2+8/32

=4(3root2+2)/32

=3root2+2/8
