Question:-

Rationalize the denominator—> \sf{\dfrac{30}{5\sqrt{3} - 3\sqrt{5}}}

Solution:-

= \sf{\dfrac{30}{5\sqrt{3} - 3\sqrt{5}}}

=> \sf{\dfrac{30}{5\sqrt{3} - 3\sqrt{5}} \times {\dfrac{5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt {5}}{5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt{5}}}}

=> \sf{\dfrac{30 \times (5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt{5})}{{(5\sqrt{3})}^{2} - {(3\sqrt{5})}^{2}}}

=> \sf{\dfrac{30 \times (5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt{5})}{75 - 45}}

=> \sf{\dfrac{30 \times (5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt{5})}{30}} [30 gets cancelled]

=>  \sf{5\sqrt{3} + 3\sqrt{5}}\: \: {\boxed{Answer}}

What is rationalizing the denominator?

Answer- It is the process of converting and irrational denominator into it's rational form by multiplying the same number of the denominator with different signs again with numerator and denominator.
